View request command execution log

You can view the command execution details of a request from the request detail page.

View execution log for commands executed at workflow steps

From the Request Execution Log page, you can view the details related to the execution workflow step for a request .

To view the request execution log for a workflow step:

  1. Search for and open the request.

    Note: For information about how to open requests, see Open a request.

  2. On the detail page, from the Jump To navigation panel, click Status.

  3. In the Step Status column for an execution step, click log.

    The Request Execution Log page opens and displays the details of the request execution.

View execution log for commands executed by event rules

From the Execution Log History page, you can view execution log for commands that are executed by event rules.

To view the execution log for the request commands that are executed by event rules:

  1. Search for and open the request.

  2. In the upper-right corner, click More > Log.

    The Execution Log History page opens and displays the execution details of the request commands whose Event is set to Apply after save or Apply on call from external requests.
