Manage requests
After you submit a request in Demand Management, users who have the required permission can view, change, or delete that request, depending on changes to the business requirements or workflow.
Reopen closed requests
You can reopen a request at a preconfigured step in the workflow. For example, if a defect request is closed and the defect recurs, you can reopen the request.
To reopen a request:

Log on to PPM.

Search for and open the request.

The request detail page opens.

From the Jump To navigation panel, click Status.

Click Reopen Request.
The request reopens.
Delete requests
You can only delete saved requests from PPM. When a request is deleted, it can no longer be opened or viewed.
To delete a request:

Prerequisite: To delete a request, you must have either of the following access grants:
- The Demand Mgmt: Edit Requests access grant, or
- The Demand Mgmt: Edit All Requests access grant

Log on to PPM.

Search for and open the request.

The request detail page opens.

In the upper-right corner, click Delete Request.
Demand Management prompts you to confirm that you want to delete the request.

Click OK.
Cancel requests
You can only cancel saved requests in PPM.
To cancel an existing request:

Prerequisite:To cancel a saved request, you must have either of the following access grants:
- The Demand Mgmt: Edit Requests access grant, or
- The Demand Mgmt: Edit All Requests access grant.

Log on to PPM.

Search for and open the request.

In the upper-right corner, click More > Cancel Request.
Demand Management prompts you to confirm the cancellation.

Click OK.
This cancels each workflow step and sets the request status to Cancelled.
Print requests
You can print the detail page for a request.
Note: You cannot modify the printable version of the detail page.
To print a request:

Log on to PPM.

Search for and open the request.
Note: For information about how to open a request, see Open and update requests.
The request detail page opens.

In the upper-right corner, click More > Print.
A printable version of the page opens in a new browser window.

On the printable version of the page, click Print.
Purge requests
You can delete multiple requests at the same time, if you have the required permissions. You cannot open or view deleted requests.
To purge multiple requests:

Log on to PPM.

Search for the requests to purge.
The search results page opens.

In the Request Search Results section, select the check boxes before the requests that you want to delete.

Click Delete.
Copy request links
You can copy links for requests, and paste the links in any application.
To copy a request link:

Log on to PPM.
-
Open the request for which you want to copy the link.

In the upper-right corner, click More > Copy Link.

Past the link in any application, or share with others.
The link includes a URL that opens the request in PPM and displays the request general information (request type, request number, and description/name) as the link text, as follows:
Note: If you copy the request link from Firefox, IE 11, Chrome or Edge that connects to an HTTP server, the request link only includes the request URL: https://ppm-demo.com/itg/web/knta/crt/RequestDetail.jsp?REQUEST_ID=47754.
