Disabling Users

Note: After you disable a user, the user cannot log on to PPM, and is not listed in the Search Resource result page.

Disabling a user in User Management Console

  1. Log on to PPM.
  2. From the menu bar, select Open > Administration > Open User Management Console.
  3. Click the user from the users list to open the View User page.
  4. Click the edit icon.
  5. Do either of the following:

    1. Select No for the Enabled field.
    2. Change the value in the End Date field to a date that is equal to or earlier than the current date and later than the start date.
  6. Click Save.

    The user becomes disabled immediately.

Disabling a user in PPM Workbench

  1. Log on to PPM.

  2. From the menu bar, select Open > Administration > Open Workbench.

    The PPM Workbench opens.

  3. From the shortcut bar, select Sys Admin > Users.

    The User Workbench window opens.

  1. Click List to display all users.
  2. Select the user you want to disable.
  3. Click Disable.

    The Question dialog box pops up for confirmation.

  4. Click Yes.

To disable a user, you can also change the user's end date to a date that is equal to or earlier than the current date and later than the start date.
