PPM Dashboard, Modules, and Portlets
The PPM Dashboard collects data from PPM and presents the data in diversified formats. It provides you with a real-time view into your PPM–based activities. For example, if you are a project manager, you can use the PPM Dashboard to view the status of your projects, the availability of your resources, the proposals pending on your decisions, and the time sheets waiting for your approvals.
The following graph illustrates the components of the PPM Dashboard and the relationship among the components.
Module |
A module is the container for one or more Dashboard pages. Modules are either provided by PPM or application administrators and can be supplied to users as either Private Dashboard pages or Shared Dashboard pages. Modules must have a unique name and can contain one or more Dashboard pages, each with one or more portlets. For details, see Create and maintain PPM Dashboard pages and modules. |
Dashboard Page |
